Nice. Is the Patton Museum still open?

Alex,

Not sure if they are still open. when me and my nephew were there in 2010 they were already relocating the armor to Ft. Benning GA. think they had moved 6 tanks at the time, but none from inside the museum yet.

Here's a few pics of me at the PATTON Museums last re-enactment a few years ago checking out the equipment. Don't worry Gary, I'm not smiling either!

And here is my first experience of ANY kind of armor actually running near me, let alone it being my favorite ... a SHERMAN tank times 3!

And what wouldn't be complete in having a strafing run by a P51 Mustang!

That's all I got!

Hey Jeff,

Great pics and videos. I enjoyed them. What type of tracks does the middle Sherman have? They look like Panzer tracks. Man you sure your older that me? You look to be 35 to 40 yrs. Thanks for sharing bud.

Gary

Glad you liked the videos!

That is a Grizzly, a Canadian built M4A1 Sherman tank.

And oh gosh ... I can hardly type with your compliment! Yeah I'm older than you and I'll be 53 on the 4th of next month! I used to be a weekend warrior since I skipped High School sports. Not that it was too competitive for me (the coach actually begged me and my parents for me to play football) but I just didn't like their regiment. I had my own plans, ideas and schedule on fitness so that's why I look this way I guess.

But even with what I used to play, it's catching up with me. Torn rotators, busted achilles and numerous arthritis aches and pains makes me wonder if I did the right things.

But hey, I look good ... huh? That's all that matters and thanks once again! I'll see ya on the other side of the planet!
