Fabien Descamps Opel Blitz with Flak 38

I'm still not clear what my next project will be. Maybe the Tamiya Sd. Kfz. 7/2, with some PE and Modelkasten, or a vehicle similar to Fabien Descamps field modified Opel Blitz with Flak 38.

Does someone has some informations about this vehicle? Till now I did not find a single picture of this vehilce or any other information that this Blitz existed.

Cheers
Manuel

From what i learn when i have done my conversion from italeri Opel Blitz to Opel blitz ambulance; most of the opel used in the late war were 4x4 and 8 nuts wheel . That's what we can see on the picture from jamie sumner.

The picture presented by Lawrence Quah is more probably a civilian vehicle converted in military use, as it's only a 2x2 vehicle with 6 nuts wheel.

You can also see that 4x4 opel have more space between the ground and the down of the hull than the 2x2.

But i can be wrong.

Thanks for the picture Lawrence!

Yes Striker, you are right. I will use the Plusmodel 4x4 conversion, with 8 nuts wheels. Base will be the Italerie Opel Blitz, Eduard PE for the Truck and the Flak is going to be the Tristar kit. Maybe I will use the Voyager PE for the Flak...

Seems that pictures of the open cabin version are rare, still no proof that this version has existed...

Thanks for your support,
Manuel
