Hi

I will continue with detailing. As most of these come from Voyager set, I must say, that it's not the best set to use (well, none of Voyager sets, that I've used, has made me happy, but for early PZ III, there are no Aber alternative as far as I know). Anyway, some of details must be done from scratch, or half-scratch, and some of them just doesn't match.

First, fender lights and electrical signal: Voyager fender light holder is later type (for Ausf.H and later), so mine had to be made from scratch - that wasn't a big deal, as it wasn't complicate. Voyager offers Bosch electrical signal front plate too, but this is awfully undersized. So I had to use plastic one.

Left side fender was much easier, as there are no fender. Still, part of the fender light wire was made.

Voyager drivers visor cover had to be corrected by soldering thin brass strip onto the front edge.

And here are some other details I've added.

Commanders cupola and hatches have some paint on them now:

Thats all by now
Thanks
Kristjan

Hi

Leigh, Hinges on fenders aren't so bad to do after little practice

But here are some more details, I've added to the tank. Voyager's smoke grenade launcher is very intricate detail to assembly. Most of it have been soldered together - probably most complex thing I have ever soldered.

I replaced Voyagers tow cable with Karaya's 0,7mm one, as Voyager made it ca. 10cm too short. Tow cable tips are from Panzer IV D box.

Brass box on fender have also been reinforced inside using styrene, as the box lid was very loosely in its place after assembly.

Fire extinguisher is Orange Hobby's little kit - Same as I used on Brückenlegers assembly, very neat thing.

Here are the pics:

Thanks
Kristjan

Thanks.

Leigh, Exhausts didn't came with Voyager - they are scratch made.

There were some last details to add. Then some masking had to do and finally got to painting. By now the model is basecoated with Testors panzer grey. Also added basecoat to details and tools and Testosr black matte undercoat to Modelkasten tracks.

Also got my commanders head by mail couple days ago. Head is made by Hornet and is extremely sharp and detailed and one could be very happy with that. I added it to some random Dragon figure torso, as torso will not be visible finally.

Thats it by now
Kristjan
