Dopey me forgot to bring along my flash drive.

Despite working on some reviews, one of which I will post on Planet Panther

I did get some work done on the Dick Marks. I grafted Dragon's Panzer IV E transmission hatch (from the original kit) to the Trumpeter.

I also added on some of the details and finished most of the belly detail. I will post some photos tonight when I get to my home PC.

Regards,

Well, I see I did not post the photos. I guess I will.

Even though I tried to avoid this 'Time Bandit', a vendor sent me Voyager Models Dick Marks set to review. I was happy to see the brass fenders as I did not have any 'L' shaped brass beams in my scratch-building stash. Well, they are not included even though they are pictured. How I wish they would gray out the parts which are not included.

I, for one, would not have noticed the fine print where one is asked to look at the rear cover to see what is included.

Regards,

Yeah, you got to be really vigilant when buying Voyager's update set that comes in the box. Did your vendor send the fenders as well?

Would be interested to hear your thoughts on the Dick Marks set

Hi Lawrence,

No, the fenders will be scratched by yours truly...I am looking for a vendor who has the K & S Engineering L profile brass shape. As soon as I find it, I can proceed on the fenders.

The VM set has a lot of errors in the interior. Too bad, it seems to be a good value but getting a lot of wrong items is not as good as getting a few correct ones. Even the slats for the fighting compartment are wrong.

Regards,

The munitionpanzer would need the same fix on the front but I just can't bring myself to fixing it. Its sad that Trumpeter kind of dropped the ball on the Pz IV lower hull.

Hi Siim,

ALL their Panzer IV based kits, including the bridge layer, need the transmission cover hatch fixed, the front tow points fixed and more...

I was gonna ask about the bruckenleger. Thanks for the heads up. Looks like a kitbash with a Tristar/DML kit is needed.
