The last two comparison photos really show that you got the launcher spot on Super job. I am liking this a lot.

Thanks Flectcher.

Just added more cables to the launcher. Continuing to add more details:

Just finish painting the canister. Now I have a little problem. Any suggestions on how to make the markings seen on the side of the canisters? Like the forklift and center of gravity warnings? Also arrows showing thr points.

Tiking,

Awesome build man. It would sure be nice to have a first name to call you by.

Anyway, a couple of suggestions for the markings.

Plane modellers sometimes use a small pointy instrument , like a toothpick to simulate very small instruction lettering and just dab little dots for the lettering in the correct color. the square markings just mask them off, and the arrows cut them out of paper, tape, or what ever to make a spray mask.

some times you can find generic markings to look similar to what you need.

Hope that helps.

Tiking,

Great work on the cables, especially on the connectors. What did you used to make them? They look just like the type of connectors all US army equipment uses.
When it comes to the markings you can do as Larry suggested, or you could get some decal paper and make them yourself. Its really very easy to do. I made a huge 8 x 11 inch sheet with all kinds of warning signs, instructions and symbols just to keep them around in case I need them.

Thanks guys. Larry, just added my name in the upper left hand corner . I thought I had already added it to my signature but apparently not. I just did now. Thanks for the reminder

Thanks for the tip.

Dave, the connectors were scratch built using styrene tubes. A couple of slices and gluing and voilà! You mentioned something about making your own decal paper. Is there a link to where one can buy the paper and/ shows you how to make one?? Thanks a lot.

Lawrence, thank you. Glad you like them.

I get my Decal Paper at www.micromark.com
They sell white and transparent decal paper. They don't have any instructions on how to use it, but it fairly easy, I just print them in a regular printer.

Thanks David. I managed to find testorscustom decal system. I'm going to test it out. BTW, I'm building another canister, the PAC-3 canister instead of the PAC-2, to use on the launcher. I'll post some pisc when done.
