just look at the second pic from my most recent post and you'll see the hole in the back of the hull. It's just a little plug for that. It's on sprue E part E-4 It's probably in most of these kits...

The radio is in! I decided to stop avoiding this and knock it out. Actually wasn't that bad but the wires were pretty fiddly. Only fit problem was the speaker stand. The aber piece was too short...
