Help, Sherman Fans!

I am seeking ONE (1) early style track skid from the Tasca straight arm suspension set. Most folks normally use the later kind, but I need a single one for a direct vision M4A4. This model is to be included in the "Son of Sherman" modeler's guide. Help conquer the carpet monster!

You mean the second type skid? Not the the half circle, but the slightly leaning type? I think I've got a set of skids for spare.

Good to hear from you Martin!

Terminology can be a bear sometimes... The one I am looking for is NOT the one most commonly found on Sherman bogies. It's use appears to be restricted to a few of the direct vision M4A4s. I guess it is sort of a leaning half circle... It is one of two options provided in the early "straight-arm" suspension set, 35-007. I believe they are parts 17 and 25. There are two per sprue and they are located to either side of the bogie halves on the sprue.

Cheers, M

BTW, I've got a photo of a British Sherman III which also has these skids. It appears in the H&C British Tanks book, and in part one of Fletcher's British Tanks of WW2, published by Concord.
