Panther project

Hi guys, recently became a member here and while I normally build 1:35 I sometimes do some digital 3d work. No fancy programs, just sketch-up ;)

Have done some more work on it. I'll post some updates later.

Hi Niels

I have recently been learning sketch-up and what you've done is great.

Tnx Larry and Varkenshond, I'm figuring out how this forum works exactly, but it looks very promising. Robert C. kept talking about it, so I thought lets check it out :thumb:

Hi Niels,

Thanks for the extra pics. If you don't mind did you use scale drawings to build from? Import then extract and so forth? It looks awesome. :thumb:

Hi guys, tnx for the remarks. Actually I don't use drawings. I'm working from a 1:35 model (Dragon Late A + Part PE set, etc.). I use the model as a guide line.As I don't like working from a model in 1:1, nor working in 1:35 in sketchup, I'm actually working in 100:35. Gives you the freedom to add details and downscaling later is of course very easy.

Had some spare hours so I tried a small experiment to do zim. The most difficult parts still need to be done: kugelblende and the mantlet.

Enjoy
