So I've started this one and it goes together
surprisingly well and quickly. I have very few
pictures of the real thing and none of the inside
so I'm not sure what goes on under the gun
itself, but very little can be seen with it in place.

Even so I blanked off my added weight with sheet
styrene for the flashlight crew.

This will be another OOB.

The munitionspanzer is another story :pinch:

Cheers,
Donovan

Top with added weight so it will sit on tracks

Assembled and clean gun (it has springs inside for recoil :) )

Hi Christopher,

I had their old Railway Gun Leopold. But I NEVER touch it :(

I'm happy to see they are re-tool the Karl...are they improved the details on the Karl...any different between the old one...

Great start, Man!!!

Hi,
this is one hefty kit! What kind of tracks it has? I had Karl in 35 scale but sold it as too much parts for my taste

Marco,

There is *a lot* of difference between the old kit and the new one. All the light gray parts are new tooled parts. Hasegawa made significant changes to the hull, roadwheels, gun, a lot of this can be seen in the pics from the build.

This is a picture of all the plastic in the box from the *old* kit that is not need for the new one.
