coconut trees
Just a quick question......
Is there a good Coconut tree out there?
Been working on a 1/35th scale pacific theater dio, and whats Pacific Dio without a coconut tree?

Hart of the South models makes wonderful palms including the coconut.

Their web site:

I hope this helps!

Hi Saul

I didn't make the request but just wanted to thank you for posting link. They do look good and not a bad price.

Shame they don't come in different sizes but that's not beyond the capabilities of a modeller to modify them to get some variation.

Bookmarked and thanks again.

True, they only have two sizes and, for the price difference, it is better to go with the larger one and cut it to a different size.

What I did like was that the palm fronds are sold separately, great for a Pacific War scene, to place with the left overs from cutting down the full tree to a different size. ;)

Mark, the last link is wrong, it leads to Chas Young's small palms part II. Can you post the right link?
