View Full Version : Sci-Fi connection

I know it's been mentioned here before, but what's with the armour/sci-fi connection here on this site? I too am a sci-fi modeler, in fact if there is any genre I am more into it's science fiction, Star Trek in particular. I also do alot of automotive modeling, but cross-genre modeling seems to be lacking at other sites, and not as welcomed as it is here.
I've also noticed a strong connection to fine arts...seems there are alot of painters and musicians here. I am also a painter (www.danburnsart.weebly.com (http://www.danburnsart.weebly.com)) and fine artist. It just seems a little strange to me that these connections exist here where they dont seem to at other armor modeling sites. But it's a very good thing I think :)

It's pretty cool that it's that open, and it seems to have brought together a really cool bunch of artists and professionals. And even though all the other stuff is welcome, everyone seems good about staying "on task" with the primary subject matter. Great site!!

Planetarmor will let all the; "my way or the highway", "I'm God and your not", "dictatorships", "no we don't want any of that here", "cyber bulling" or any similar attitudes...leave that to some others that pose that.

Planetarmor is here to have fun and share with others what the members do. Planetarmor celebrates the ideas, hard work and final accomplishments shared here and have a discussion or two about the work done.

Actually, planetarmor is not asking for much really.
