I am looking to build DMLs Panther a Early. But there are so many books and I can not make a decision which is the best one. I either want to make one that was in Italy or on the eastern front. Any suggestions which books are good?

Squadron/ Signal's "Panther in action" has good pics of the early A, the captions aren't too specific though. Panzer Tracts "Panther A" is the ultimate on details.
Some units:
Pz Reg 4; Italy; red/ outlined white turret numbers; 1xx, 2xx, etc.
5 SS Pz div Wiking; Poland, Hungary; white turret numbers; 5xx, 7xx, etc.
Hope this helps.
