I havn't been building much armor/military in the last decade (too much into the PC).
In the late '80's and thru the '90's, I competed in mostly IPMS contests. I've been awarded many awards including 1st places in local, regional, and even a 1st place in the IPMS National in Atlanta in '92 (armored car..."Dingo").

Very happy you are here. Please share your award winning armor builds here on planetarmor.
Looking forward to that.

Hey Gordy and Alex,
Most of my collection is on display at a "now restricted" building at Ft. McCllelan,AL. (I've had to move several times since '97). I still have my "Dingo" (in pieces). I do plan to refurbish it. I won in the out-of-box division. With some of the aftermarket stuff avaliable now and all the repair it needs, it will not be oob this time...lol.
If you have the 1994 "Modeling WWII, there is pic of my converted Africa Corps pzk IV on the page before Zaloga's "Modeling the V-1 Buzz Bomb". I also had a few pics in the IPMS Journals in the early to mid '90's. Our modeling club was the "Tri-County Modelers". Anniston,AL. Some of our members included Barney Waters, Carl McGauflin, and Pat Covert, all national award winners. I used a 35mm Nikon for pics back then. I'll have to get used to using my digital camera for miniature photos.
The 1st pics I post here will be new builds starting with an Academy M3 Stuart that I just started.
