Halfyank

I guess it's about time I introduced myself also. I see so many names here from Armorama that I figure most of you know me. My handle kind of says it all, I'm half Yank, Dad was a WWII soldier, and half English, Mum was a Cockney war bride. I really should be "half limey" because I am American and think and act like an American, but Halfyank has been my handle so long it's as much my name as Rodger.
I'm a retread, I was into modeling when I was a kid in the late 60s, early 70s. I gave it up when I became an "adult." Two years ago I decided I wanted something for my second childhood. I couldn't afford a red sports, and I figured my wife would rather I play with plastic models than the kind they have at Victoria's Secret, so I'm back into modeling. :)
I mainly do armor, though I've got a couple of 'floaty' projects going on right now. I've even gone over to the "dark side" and made a couple of wingy thingys.
I think there are too many German kits out there as it is so I mainly model the "good guys", Allied armor. I'll make the occasional German or Italian kit, captured or knocked out of course.
