So I have a tank interior with some pre-molded wiring that i want to replace with real wire... but the wire is held in place by very small brackets. What do people use to replicate these little brackets? Lead foil? they are very small.
They are like surface mount brackets, I need to get a picture ;)

You're doing this because you want to. Who cares if you're crazy? :D

I would use small pieces of P.E. fret. Cut it, bend it then mount it where desired. Stronger then foil.

happy new year. hope your hands are steady and your eyesight is still good. a small tip if you use super glue to affix the brackets have a q tip ready to soak up the exess glue so it does not obliterate the details.

yes sir I'm still alive and kicking. I'm just having a very hard and painful time but reading this thread is very motivating, i feel like a 12 year old, all exited to build my first model, just have to learn how to use my hands all over again. i have an advantage though, i still retain all the data in the hard drive. by the way Alex nice workbench.
