Nice buy there Tazz. I haven't gotten it yet. I kick myself that Hobby Lobby used to have it and I could have gotten it at their half price sale for about what you paid for it. Pity.

I have the Tamiya M3 hafltrack, which I understand really shows a model of half track that was never produced. I've heard that you can take the sides from the M21 that you have, and swap them for the sides of the M3 half track, and do a few other things, and make both teh M21 and M3 more accurate. Haven't put this to the test yet myself.

Hi Chris,

Good find! I've got a soft spot for those old Tamiya halftracks. I built the M21 awhile back and have posted it on my website if you need something to look at while building yours. I did combine the parts for the M3, but left the suspension items as stock.

A good kit and loads of fun to build too!

I built it around Xmas 2003 or there abouts. It is a fine kit. Don't know about it's accuracy but I crammed mine full of crew stuff including a bicycle tied to side racks. Personally I liked the build
