Hello everyone. A little about myself. I'm a single 30 year old dad living in Southern Idaho. I'm a heavy construction equipment operator by trade. My interests lie mainly with the German air force in WWII. I build primarily in 1/48 but have been expanding into 1/32 a little. The past year has actually seen my interests broaden modeling wise. I took an interest in 1/35 modern armor, 1/350 WWII ships and 1/48 modern jets that are painted up into special paint jobs like demo aircraft and airshow teams. Thats a little about me. Feel free to ask any questions if you have any.

LuftwaffeNik,

Welcome to planetarmor.
It sounds like you have excellent taste in model building.
1/32 & 1/48 WW2 German Air, 1/35 modern armor, 1/350 WW2 ships and 1/48th modern jets painted like demo aircraft/airshow teams sound like all interesting subjects.
Looking forward to your builds being shared with others here.

I'm looking forward to some of my builds too. I haven't completed one yet. I usually get bored or frustrated with one that it ends up back in the box and put away for a while until I get interested again. At the moment I'm working on a 1/48 Predator UAV as well as a 1/48 Globalhawk. Pretty straight forward builds that will probably end up in the ever growing "in-progress" pile. Also on the work bench is Tamiya's 1/35 Leopard 2A6. That build was going really good and decided it accidentally destory two the grab rail/bars on the cheek armor so I attempted to make my own. Didn't go so well so its sitting idle while I figure out a better way of making my own since I have LionRoars photoetch set going on it as well. Hopefully soon those three will be finished.
