Colour Help

im currently building the 1/35 op telic challenger II by trumpeter and i want to achieve a really good finsh as its such a beautiful tank, i need to know what are the best colours for pre shading, base colour and wash. im thinking nato black, deck tan and dark yellow/brown wash? what do you guys think? (btw i use tamiya acrylics)
