I started this one a while ago... the beginning of 2004, I think. Anyway, lots of trawling through Jentz's Germany's Panther Tank and Panzer Tracts 5-1 here.

Aftermarket includes Aber and Lion Roar PE, MiG Productions early-pattern air vent covers, Moskit exhausts, and M.A. Mori front fenders (not pictured here).

Here you can see a few of the modifications with the kit, like the front hatch catches. I may remove the catch for the loader's hatch as I don't think it was present on very early Panther Ds.

Hi Larry - yes, I'm still lurking. Things were getting a little embarrassing for me, always posting images of things which never got more than half-finished. I made a vow to make no more postings unless I actually finished something, but I think we can see how that's turning out. ;)

I changed my avatar though...

Thanks for the votes of confidence, guys - I should have my Char B1 bis ready soon (like, hopefully by the weekend if I get off my a** now...) I'll post photos of it when it's ready for paint.

Fastest build ever for me, actually - I got something like 90% of the box-stock building of the B1 done within 24 hours of buying the kit. Now I'm bogged down in AMS as more tweaks come to light (thank you very much Mr. Hall...)

Ok, so I haven't done any work on the B1, but it's because I got a commission to do a poster from a local concert promoter:

I really have to get off my a$$ here, all I've got left to do is add the rivets down one of the sponson tops (I've decided not to succumb to AMS on this one - finishing something this year is too tempting!) ;)

Great looking poster Darren. :thumb:

I hope you'll share some of your work with us now that the poster is finished, it's been far too long since we've seen it.

Best Regards, Willy.

Darren,

I'm with Wille. A poster eh, another "arteest" among us?
