One of our hosts (Jim Patrick at right) and myself (David Harper on left) standing in front of one of the M4A3's, this one fully restored and running, in the motor pool. I took 200 digital photos of this vehicles many details, for future projects. World renowned figure sculpter Bill Chilstrom and Jim Patrick stand in front of M-26 serial number 0001.

Our other host, Chun Lun Hsu, guides an M-24 Chaffee out of the motor pool building. During our visit, they pulled out the M-24 and the Hetzer for a couple of laps around the yard.

Two more research subjects were the wading gear still mounted on this Sherman, and the "Jumbo" Sherman stored at Ft. Knox.

Dave, is the LST building still up? I got a chance to visit it, and climb on the "Jumbo" seen here. Dan :)

Yes, the LST building is still, er, well I guess you would call it standing. It was colder than hell is hot (from what aircraft modelers tell me), and cramped and dark......
