Hello and Hi

My name is Pawel and that's my first thread here at pA.
I am building old Tamiya model (1973) upgraded with Eduard PE set
and some of my own atempts to scratch building. Despite its age,
the model is easy and fits quite well - which is important, specially
for rookie like me. ;)

This quad have also a nice shape and I think will be ideally
for color modulation style base. I imagine it as a repainted vehicle,
worn look, used by a guy who is responsible for road signs
(some signs will be used as interior stowage) and operating in Africa theatre.

Because of gaps and some other building and painting issues
I have decided to paint interior in this stage and just thought
it's also a good moment to show the process so far here at pA.

I will be happy to get any advices and comments that will help in my build,
especially that reading planet armour forum and watching more experienced
colleagues is perfect to learn an motivate and to learn even more and more :)

Most of it is dry fited now and just waiting for some degreasing
before I will start paint interior. I am not sure about interior color,
but believe it should be same as exterior, in this case some sand color?

Congrats on beginning your first Vbench, Pawel.

I think that you've gotten off to a very good start...I really like the small, but very effective base.

Pawel,

I think the interior was usually left in the usual British Green color...

Nice model....:thumb:

Funny. I've looked at these pics a few times now but I just noticed. These are some of the sharpest model pictures I've ever seen. It's like it's right in front of me.

Oh and the model is pretty good too.:D

Servus!

First of at all sorry for late thanks giving for all good words. Thank you!

Serpico I paint interior in some unidentified green with some shaded
quick technical repaints - but studying some photos of CMP (hard to find)
I believe it should/can be sand too. Anyway I just thought that green will ad an interesting color detail at final look - will see.

More dramatic than finesse, look of interior now.
