Hi all, here are some pics of my completed vignette of the Dragon Panzer 1 with Tristar figures. This was built out of the box and was alot of fun to do. Comments welcome.
Cheers Andrew

Very good job ! And figures looks very nice. But you could make more dust on figures shoes and mudguards of Pz. I. Generally - I like it ! How you make sand on vignette ??

Hi Phillip, the base was made with clay and then coated in a product from Young Miniatures, which is a paste for making bases with. This one was a mixture of Sand and Gravel base. It is an excellent product to use. Thanks for your comments as well, much appreciated.

Very nice vignette, I specially like the skin tone of the figures; very well done!

Hi Andrew,
Cool little vignette, I like it, and the figure set is also well chosen - did you paint it with acrilycs? If I want to find something I would have done other way is the chipping - I found it a bit overdone and on the side hatch a bit too regular. But again: it is only my taste :)
cheers,
Zsolt

Looks good but for future reference, as I see loads of Pz I models without them, by the time WW2 started most if not (as I suspect) all had the armoured guards over the three rear grilles (on the deck and the upper rear hull plate), a mod that was ordered in the late 1930s. I've never seen a wartime Pz I without them and suspect that they did not exist.
