.... while a soldier from Commando Kieffer is carefully coming closer to the destroyed porthole of the H612 bunker flanking Colleville beach toward Hermanville, a grunt of East Yorkshire regiment - 3rd British Infantry division, is trying, despite the hubbub of the battle, to point out a new target to the tank commander of a Churchill Mk IV AVRE, 5th Assault Regiment Royal Engineer

Amazing ! Figures Excelent !! How you made realistic skin ?
Painted with Prince August ( Vallejo ) acrylics only
base is brown sand 876,
first lighting with base plus flat flesh 955, 2nd with more 955 then 3rd almost 955 pure
1st shadow with base plus burnt cadmium red 814, 2nd shadow with more 814
the most important point is the dilution of the paint with water, should be more or less like milk
and then a lot of thin layers ( better 10 thin layers than 1 too thick ! ) to have the best possible join between 2 layers of different colors
A last picture from 1944 :D

Great job and a really cool scene. Very well done. Very busy for a small piece of real estate. Great scene.
