I have a diorama idea, but unsure about it's historical accuracy.

I'm wondering if G.I.'s (or the Germans, Russians, Brits, etc.) in WW2 were issued toilet paper similar to what we use now...on rolls. If not, would it be feasible to assume they could acquire it somehow?

I'm probably reaching, but anyone got any photos?

Thanks!

Dear Ken,

Intresting question....this may help, from "History of Toilet Paper"

http://www.nobodys-perfect.com/vtpm/ExhibitHall/Informational/tphistory.html

And a quote from http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/Story?id=93597&page=2

"1944: Patriotic Toilet Paper Duty — The United States honors Kimberly-Clark with an "E" Award (for excellence in commercial services) for its heroic effort supplying soldiers fighting in World War II."

As a kit i remember getting "C" and iI think "K" rations with the cigrette, gum, matches, instant coffee, sugar, and TP.

Hope this helps.

Mark
