Here is the second figure in progress, there will be five figures in all firing from the AAVP7. Two figures will be armed with the M16A2, one will have the M203 and the other the M240 MG. The five figures can be used back to back to give you a 10 man inf. load firing to both right and left side.
A OIF AFV crew is also under way, so you can really dress up your AAV7P.
Hard Corps Models is doing a set of AAV7P markings from OIF, and a packs and rucksacks load is also in the works.
My friend Chun Lun Hsu has used my photos of AAV7P's just back from OIF to produce a beautiful set of AAV7P armor and a set of all of the mounts for the armor if you wish to build an OIF vehicle without the armor, for Hobby fan. He is presently involved with a few more AAV7P projects for future release and I will use them all in the next several Amtracs that I am building.
So between Warriors, Hard Corps Models, and Hobby Fan, we have the AAV7P pretty well covered. So now Tamiya can come out with an updated OIF version of their basic kit, and put us all to shame. But, until then......
