Sherman Turret Completed

The basic turret started out as the Italeri USMC Sherman turret. We heavily redetailed the original turret, added the casting numbers and marks, recontoured the overall shape adding many of the production anomalies of the real thing, completely retextured the whole turret, added the correct style welds to the various parts, made new spotlight and connection posts, antenna mount and added the drain hole features. The cast in cheek armor was added to the right front cheek. This turret will be included in several of our USMC Sherman based detail sets.

Thanks for the kind words Saul, and yes, I am going to make all of the Sherman 75mm gun turrets that were used by the USMC in WWII. This includes the low bustle versions with and without the cast in cheek armor and with and without the shell ejection port.

Thanks for the comments guys. The plan is to only offer the turret with the various USMC Sherman updates. I have so little time for doing production, I would not be able to fill the demand without great delays.

We are sold out of our first production run of HX 35001 & HX 35002 with all of the pre-orders that were placed. Everyone who placed a pre-order will receive what ever they pre-ordered.
