Saipan Alligator

Greetings from Brazil!

I am building now an USMC LVT (A)-1 in fighting during Saipan assault. Could you help me with some info about color and tactical markings for my Alligator?

Menardi, wow kinda late in response but from what I read USMC Amtanks were still in the ocean grey paint and they had either one or two wide vertical stripes painted roughly in the middle of the hull to denote what beach they were assaulting. One red strip meant Red Beach 1, two stripes Red beach 2 and green stripe(s) for the other two beaches. Concord publications Amtracs and Amphibians at War 1941-45 has color plates of USMC and US Army vehicles.
