Looking: USMC Sherman hatch grates

Building a heavily modified M4 Sherman, Pacific theatre. One modification was screens or grates welded on over the periscope and other hatches. Pain in the butt to scratchbuild, so if anyone knows if there are any after market ones out there I'd appreciate knowing about it.

Anyway. In one of David Harper's answers there's a picture of the screens you're asking about. They are from Hard Corps Models, but seems to be out of production at the moment. Read David's answers and find out more about the screens and any eventually re-run of them.

David Harper does runs on these about once every three months (using some sort of "3D
printer"). Poke around his website (http://www.hardcorpsmodels.com) and you should be able to turn up something. This is the only option that I know of for aftermarket (though, of course, there may be something else that I don't know of). Good luck with the Marine vehicle.
