Here is a shot of the long awaited mid-production M4A2 conversion from Trakz. The photo shows two seperate kits one being the turret and the other the M4A2 Mid hull. Each of these comes with more parts than shown in this photo, hatches, gun barrel (Metal Turned) mantlet pieces, etc. I am posting this photo after many requests from modelers who wanted to have a look at the basic kits.

I like it. What kit will it need as the doner, Academy or Tamiya?

Trakz gives you all the parts to use either the Tamiya, Italeri, Academy, or DML.

Hi David,

Thank you for posting this image. Do you know if this hull is based on the Verlinden M4A2 hull? Any images of the rear (so we can see the angle of the end plate)?

Best regards,
Keith

No this has absolutley no relation to the old VP M4A2 Hull, all new based off stereo lithography patterns, Scratchbuilt patterns and Tamiya host parts.

Here is a rear shot

Yes this kit (TX 0072) is now available from VLS at modelmecca.com or from LSA Models in the U.K. It retails for $21.95. I have used the Academy M-10 as the host kit.

I just ordered the hull. Do you need the turret as well or can you use the Tamiya turret if you use the Tamiya hull?
