The Imperial kit is a late to final, and doesn't need Zim. This kit is a mid and should have zim. This is a slightly later version the original smart G kit.

Indeed I was aware of that, just that the late model does not look drastically different from the new and better one, of course it being an earlier version.

And now the world is going to build StuGs with Alkett Zimmerit and MIAG fendersupports...
A later pressed fendersupport (a'la Tamiya StuG III G early) would have been the correct one.

Furthermore the rear deck and the lower rear hull should have the interlocked weldings. Now - if I can interpret the picture correctly - it seems like Dragon just have zimmerited the parts from their earlier StuG.

Props to Dragon for doin the waffle zim, and providing a new breach/gun assembly for the 105. Let's see what they come up with next (I'm hoping for a late StuG with saukopf, remote MG, etc...)
