Howdy all,

After several years of painting only medieval figures (I hang out at planetFigure), I have completed Trumpeter's E10. It is built mainly OOTB with some minor additional detailing, new tow cables, and new exhausts (the kit was short one). The paints are Floquil Military colors followed by the usual wash, drybrush, chipping/scuffing, and chalk pastels.

Comments/questions are welcome.

Oh, and a tip of the hat to all the E10 builders before me. I found the images and commentary on pF, TL, and ML very inspirational and it prompted me to get back in the game.

Cheers,

Glen

Welcome here, Glen!

Being both Figureteer and Armornaut is nothing to be ashamed of. ;)
I do it all the time and even Joe Hudson posted a german lorry here not long ago.

Nice clean build. But I side with Larry on the dirt but it is however my personal taste.

Hope to see more from you in the future.

Cheers

Nice job, I however disagree with the others in that I for the most part like clean builds. Doesn't hide any of the detail (that opinion would probably change if I could ever learn to dirt convincingly). The only thing I do not like and this is just my opinion is the chipping. You have chipping running along just about every edge on the tank. Just a bit much IMHO (but this is your model and you can chip it to high h_ll if you wish). Your build and paint is great. I like the way your convoy light turned out. Great job.

Well Glen. Here's more of us who do hang on both Planets. Wellcome to the dark side of the moon.:D Very nice job on E-wagen. My opinion is less chipping and more dirting!:) keep em coming.

Howdy all,

Thanks for the comments everyone! I gotta tell you, I'm more of a moderate-coating-of-dust person. Once in a while (very once in a while), I'll add some stippled putty along the lower hull for clods of dirt. I've never mudded a vehicle, either.

Cheers,

Glen
