First I want to introduce myself, because I am new in this Forum:
My name is Robert, I am coming from Vienna/ Austria and I am smallscaler with much interests in Stug, but not enough time for modelling.
I want to recommend you new forthcoming books about Stug3 . #1 is from style similar Spielberger, but much thicker and more accurate, the more interesting #2 with each production change in detail will be published now in German, in English later. I owned #1 in German and had chance to get copy of #2 for testreading at a modelling show. I am not allowed to copy the paper but maybe I can help sometimes with some details. You should take a look at http://www.historyfacts.biz/en/04_Publikationen/11_SturmGeschuetzIII.htm for reading examples #1 english or http://www.historyfacts.biz/de/04_Publikationen/11_SturmGeschuetzIII_2.htm german #2 from 3rd pdf onwards.
In my opinion the best sources on the market, and I have some famous books.

A StuG IIIG was on exhibit at the Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung. It was used by the Finnish Army after 1945. It came to the museum in 1989.

It's Ps.531-39 "Hellikki" It became to finland summer 1944. It breaks my heart cause they painted it german colours and under it's colours it never fought! It's Finnish Sturmi and should be painted like that. Nice pics anyway.:)
