Well last weekend I was taking a spin on my "MadAss 125" and ended up at my LHS.
I spotted the zimm King and impulse bough the kit. I did punch it out a bit to quick for a blog of real worth but there was a few things raised that need to be overcome.
Pros:
Zimmerit
Indi-Tracks
PE and Ali-Barrel
Lots of bits for the parts bin

Conns:
The zimm has been cut into the hull plates and not added to.
PE screens are a little over-sized making them hard to use.
Poorly thought out hull construction making it tricky to get everything correct.
What multi choise parts go together with each other?

Anyways I'll get some snaps together today and post them :thumb:.

Well this view angle of a K/Tiger has always been my fave and is how I'll be finishing her.

Now, now lets not be like that ;). I know that you too have a couple of "golden oldie" projects floating about at your place :D:thumb:.

Please read this from my start up post
...I spotted the zimm King and impulse bough the kit.
The impulse part is/was my undoing :o:o.
BTW, who's to say I haven't finished the Max? Well I haven't so there :p:p.

Looks nice, but you don't have an advantage because you can't depict it damaged.

That came off just ever so slightly "bitchy"... like it should have one of those catfight soundtracks going in the background :D

You guys need to get that strike resolved... not just for your emotional and financial well being, but I'm worried about running out of new Stargate Atlantis episodes.

Oh and the Tiger Deux... I was a little surprised to see that they went with a pyrogravure-echtomy instead of an applique for the original.

Not to me Paul. I read it as both a motivational barb (trying to guilt me back to work) and an indication of interest as to where/how the blend project would turn out. James builds many kits and wouldn’t have the time to waste on jobs like mine. The Max can take time for me as it’s only one of a few not the many:).
The 1/144 Bismarck and 1/35 S-100 (please make it right) could put all tracked projects on to the back burner this year any how (PlanetWater Gordy?).
Besides which there was no way I could just let James take pot shots at me without saying f-all, is there?
