DW was build in 2007 and here are some photos from 2008 work- two Trumpeter's kits. I must admit that making this 'set' gave me a lot of satisfaction- I decided to build them OOTB without comparing to drawings or plans

Excellent work! This is one of these occassions that I immediately start considering buying the same kits...
Can you say something about the painting; which colours did you use? It seems a bit blue, is that a filter or mixed with the airbrushjob?
Regards,
Eric

hello fellows
nice to see that you like this paintjob- all made using MM enamels- as base Authentic Schwarzgrau and 1750 Panzer Gray. I decided also to try filters- to this "blue" tone I used Medium Gray ;)
Weathering using pigment fixed by Odourless Mineral Spirit.
Random colors mixed and set on model using brush and fixed with a drop of white spirit on it :) that all.

No time - I cannot help You.:)
No inspiration - I cannot believe. (I made myself such one years ago and showed the story of the inspection of the battery v. Rüdt some days before the went to Russia.) http://www.dioramix-worx.com/DioSites/Karl.html
Vou built excellent vehicles - give them life and home!

Hey Jools,
I've seemed to have missed this one too.
About this being OOTB; who cares! To me the finishing and the final looks are what counts for me in the end. A bad paint job can ruin all of the scratch built stuff and PE.
But in your case: with a paint and weathering job so well done, who needs PE  ! And that's quite something to say by someone who can't seem to build without PE.
I really like the finishing of these two models.:thumb:

hi mate, thats is a great pair you have there, the pz iv is my personnal favorite out of all the german panzers, i particually like the shade of grey that you have used, what paints did you use and what mix achieved that colour, one slight little thing though, is the jack block on upside down ?, in all my refs for this veh it is shown the same way as a regular pz iv with the shelf on the bottom ?, sorry to spot that but i am just curious,
