Fehrman Tiger

Hi all!
In the process of making the Mid Tiger I thought on doing a mock-up Fehrman Tiger. As I understood the Fehrman Tigers where Early Tigers fitted with late wheels but I will use the Kurzmaul hull, Wittmann hull roof and turret. Right now I am waiting for the Wittmann kit as the Mid turret is done. During this evening I have zimmerited the left side of the Fehrman tiger and I will upload the pictures later this evening.
I am thinking of just displaying the tank on a base I made earlier intended from the start for the Mid Tiger. Figures will be re-sculpted commander from the Tamiya Panther and maby a second figure....well firstly I will try to finish the build. Right now I am ordering Humbrol paint.

Hi Scott!
Thanks for the links! It clearly shows to me that F02? Was based on a Early Tiger 1 with new steel road wheel as the tank has no zimmerit.
Ahh..darn becouse I have just finnished my zimmeriting =O(

Small updates here in my workbench. I have really been lazy!
Yesterday I carved out the hull and fitted a early turret on the hull. Next is to give the vehicle some yellow basecoat. This is a "for free" project acutally becouse all I wanted or needed was the turret in the Kurzmaul kit.
I will see when I can update the thread with pictures. Main focus are not on this subject right now.
