Historica Books to import Masterclub from Russia!

Hi all,

I figured I'd announce that the Masterclub shipment to Historica books was completed and accounted for so I can announce that they will be carrying the full line! I have already ordered my Tiger I Initial tracks.

For those that don't know, these very well made tracks from Russia include many types in their line up such as the T-34, IS-2/3, T-55, T-72, BMP series, MTLB, ZSU, PT-76 (my next order for the Trumpeter kit), rivets, and much more!

Historica Books plans to update their web site in the next few days. I will post a complete list of the Masterclub line as soon as I get it from Historica. No pricing yet but I trust Historica Books to provide a good price.

Hi Erik,

I do not know if Masterclub has a web page. I read about their products on a Russian forum where a comparison was made between all the Tiger I tracks available and Masterclub got top scores. This is why I bought my set from Historica Books sight unseen. If they turn out to be expensive, well...champagne once in a while won't make me go broke. ;)

Erik, no they are not assembled. They are individual resin links, very clean, very accurate. Some of the workable sets use fine pins to hold them together. PMMS has several of their sets reviewed.

All the W sets are workable, meaning they use the included track pins to assemble.

The CL sets are click tracks, the same way WWII Production makes them.

Masterclub did a production run of assembled Tiger tracks for a nominal additional fee but it was never released for sale outside Russia. All this from reading the forum.

Historica Books plans to have the product line on their web site by Friday. Until they move to a new server, international customers should email them with their order as the current software requires a US zip code.
