Hi,
above mentioned model be either late or final M-10? What are the actual differences. There are two versions of road wheels, can I use either one for final version? How about tracks, those are vinyl so I should change them anyway, but which one would be "correct version?
I'm gonna build quite OOB with hatches open as changing engine to correct size and getting turret right is too much of a job.

The Academy duckbill is the one with the third type of turret, and a full set of turret armor plating. So it is a late/final model.
OOB, it's quite nice. Suspension has lots of options, true but I can't point you to a 100% correct layout. As a rough rule of thumb, usual layout are
- plate sprocket, spokede roadwheels, horizontal return roller brackets, solid idler
- open 'fancy' sproket, pressed roadhweel, upswept bracket, spoked idler.

As to tracks, you have quite a few options. Again, rules of thumb excluse T48 and T51 tracks from winter scenes as these had poor traction on ice. Grousers could be fitted but crews usually tried to get metal tracks. Don't know what tracks are in the kit?

It would be best if you get yourselves a photohgraph of a particular tank, and make your model from that.
