Ok how cold/hot was it in your neck of the woods?
About 3km (Perth Airport) from where I live here in Perth the temp was recorded at 45c (113 Fahrenheit), this is 2c above the last highest 26th December ('97) of 43. The hotest day was 46.6 (116 Fahrenheit) in Jan of
Below is the graph showing the 25th and 26th. (I live less than 20km from the Indian Ocean).

Mmmmm, I'd really love that weather. Here we have something like +2'C and very cloudy.

White Christmas and day after...well, at least some snow flakes for us. No A/C but a nice fire in the fireplace!

I've always tried to wonder how Christmas is in the Southern Emishpere!

Well if you get cold you can rug-up but when your hot there is next to nothing you can do (thought my mother in-law was a gonna when she showed up for lunch :)).
Yesterday we went to the beach where I dropped the family off while I parked the car between the railway line and Cottesloe Beach (called "Cot" here). It felt like 80,000 people had the same idea. Today you could let rip with a scatter gun and only wing the one sole. It was 36 but it felt like it was mid twenties with a brisk sea breeze (not the Freeo Doctor :)).
Things look like staying in the low 30s for the next week.
