Hey guys,
how do you handle tow cables? I'm trying to finish off my Panther, but the cables are a pain. The wire provided in the kit seems to have some memory, not wanting to go in the right direction. I picked up the Tiger Model Design set, has some cable ends and a length of this green string, but that's not much good either as it unravelled on me. Any tips?

You can heat metal cables to remove the 'spring'. They can then be bent easily and will keep their shape.

You can also remove the fuzz from string 'cables' with a diluted mix of white glue and water when you are ready to drape them on your model. This will keep them together, too, as will paint. Slip a piece of thin plastic food wrap under them to keep wet string from contacting your paint job, then remove it once it's dried.

Cheers
