Other than the figures and PE shield, not much is newly made as all the other features were available with the other releases. I thought they may have redone the welds on the trail legs, added an IR gun sight from their upcoming UHU kit, and so on.

The artwork does look VERY nice.

Hmm, would be nice to have but nothing to jump out of ones skin for sure.

Don't know-there is a signature on the bottom right hand corner.

As for new features the two you do mention seem pretty substantial to me but there were a couple of others.

- Brand new-tooled gun crewmen
- Double-layer gun shield made of photo-etched parts
- Three kinds of wheel options
- Two pattern tires (new and worn out)

Hi James,

I agree that the figures (if Gen2) would be substantial. The PE shield is a nice addition but the plastic one was not bad.

The wheels and tires were released before as I have them in my box which I opened to compare to the release. Since I already bought a PE set for this original release kit, the Premium Edition is one I would pass on. One thing about my kit that I am sure is not mentioned but is there is the corrected slide. The second kit (labeled as PaK-40 Late) was already corrected as was the Sd.Kfz. 251/22 kit.

The artist seems to be Z. Gonnik.

Now, imagine if Dragon were to release a Sherman with Calliope rockets...CyberHobby can then release the American field modified Sd.Kfz. 251 with Calliope rocket launcher placed on the PaK-40 recoil slide (for elevation) and mount. THAT would be cool!
