Guess we should start with "Kelly's Heroes", specifically the Tiger built on the T-34 hull. Oddball's Shermans were quite unique, too, with the loudspeakers and pink paint splats.
Same technique was used in "Band of Brothers", IIRC. That movie also had a bunch of "runners", including Marder III H and some StuGs, and I think a Hetzer.
"Saving Private Ryan" also had some good-looking vehicles, runners and some mock-ups.
I remember "Slaughterhouse Five" had some postwar Czech-built SdKfz 251s, forget the proper designation, but that was the first i'd heard of them.
Then there's "Rat Patrol", with the famous Jeep and phony "German" M3 ½-tracks.
M48s and M24s from "Battle of the Bulge" — wouldn't need a vast library for those! That movie was a hoot! Only Hollywood could turn Nevada into the Ardennes!
I saw Russian movie "Cuckoo" (Кукушка) recently. There was a GAZ-67 prominent in the early scenes. "Come and See" (Иди и смотри) had some good replicas/runners, too.
What other movies are there with modellable vehicles?
Cheers
