Hi
Here are some cottage illustrative pictures that maybe someone will find useful while building an eastern European theater diorama. I've made them this summer. Please fell free to make a use of them.

Anyone have any idea how the scratchbuild the roof? I'm okay with the rafters, but how do you simulate the straw?

Mbabsit,

You can get some cheap paintbrushes with coarse bristles and use the bristles to simulate the straw on the roof.

thats what I did for this roof...the bristles of those wide brushes used for wallpaper paste and such...very inexpensive from the hardware store.
