Hello!
As we all know, you build the kit, then paint it. Some like to get done with the building part as fast as possible and get painting and weathering. On the other hand some of us like to super detail a model, replace every part with brass or plastic card, but then put the model aside when it comes to painting. Last but not least there are people, who enjoy both parts of the models progress.
In my case it depends on the model, a vehicle panzer grey just does not get me as excited as a 3 color ambush scheme. But at the end when I have to choose I would say I like to build more. Setting up for painting and then cleaning up after is taking the joy out of it.
What do you prefer?
