Does anyone make a Sherman Duplex Drive in 1/35 that is not an arm and a leg. I would like to model a 1 Hussar tank from the initial landings. I know of the resicast but wonder if there are others. Would it be hard to scratch one? and if not what would be the best kit to start with. thanks in advance for any help you can give. :)

Resicast is your only option unless you wish to scratchbuild your own The Tank Museum offers plans packs and I know the Sherman DD is one of those available.HTH

I was thinking about doing the same thing for my dad (he's in the hussars and he wants a dd for the mess.) I looked around quite a bit on the net and as mentioned above, the best option seems to be the resicast mk.V dd (1st hussars used mk.Vs on dday.) I think the great models webstore has it listed for $90-99usd.

Out of curiosity, are you in London ON?

Thanks. No I dont live in London anymore. I ended up in the airforce and now live in Cold Lake AB. Course now that I'm broken beyond economical repair I'm looking for new pastures. My brothers still in London and retired from the 1H a couple of years ago.
