Iwata compressor

Hi Everyone.

Has anyone used/does use, the Iwata IS-850 "Smart Jet" air compressor, and if so, how good are they? Will I be able to use my Paasche airbrush with it, or are the two totally incompatible? Most importantly, how Quiet are they?????? Will greatly appreciate any thoughts/info/advice.

Chris, I have a Smart Jet and have been using it for about 3-4 years now with no problems. I have Iwata airbrushes but you should be able to get a connector for you Pasche. It is not totally quiet but it is quite enough that you could have a conversation with someone while it is running. My model room is just down the hall from the master bedroom and sometimes I paint later at night after my wife has gone to bed and it doesn't bother her at all.
