I just finished Tamiya's Chally II..Very nice kit OOB all i added were some brass grab handles. The paint is Testors Acryl British Armor light stone...I hate Acryl Paints... And i used Tamiya Buff for the fabric skirts...i also added the no slip coating from Putty thinned with Tamiya X-tra thin liquid cement.....any questions and all comments welcome.....

Hey Brian, nice work on the Challenger II. I thought that the main gun had too much paint chipped off of it. But overall you did an awesome job. :thumb:

I just have one question. Why don't you like acryl paints? Or is it just Testors acryl that you don't like? I personally like Tamiya acrylic paints but I use Testors Model Masters when they have a more perfect color which I might need. I love working with acrylics. I use to use enamels only until I discovered acrylics. But to each his own. Keep up the good work.

I agree, the chipping looks just a bit too heavy, but other than that, excellent. I really like the way the fabric skirts look. Very realistic.
