M4A4 Sherman Rear idler...rubber?

Anyone know on the early M4 "open sprocket" type wheels...was the rear idler rubber rimmed or all steel? I cant tell from references and cant find anything on the web that specifically calls it out. An educated guess says it was all steel, since there is no visible demarcation of a rubber rim on the kit part, but should I trust Academy?

Academy went wrong on this, still puzzling me - it is all steel.
