I was wrapping up my build on the DML Panther A, and decided I just had to have another go at a Panther. I just love 'em! (In case you couldn't tell by my sig).

I am not modeling a specific vehicle on this one. Just a generic mid G, built around July of '44. I made one mistake in that I put the rain guard over the drivers periscope which wasn't added until I believe the September time frame, so I will have to remove it.

So far the Tamiya kit has been solid. The fit is superb, and detail pretty good. Although, I found the detail on the DML kit to be much better (at least it had more finesse). I am also using the Royal Models PE set on this one. It is pretty good, but I don't think up to the standards of the newest sets from the likes of Eduard and LionRoar.

Anyway, enough of my yapping!

Looks awsome!.. Especially the Zimmerit!.. What are you using for putty there?

I'm just using Testors Polyester putty and a Tamiya zimmerit tool. I think it looks a little rough, but when one looks at shots of the real thing, it can sometimes appear far from perfect! :)

I just got some Friul tracks in the mail today for this one. Looking forward to getting them together!

Thank you for the compliments

Alright, this project isn't completely dead yet! :)

Got my Friul tracks together as well as added some to the turret.
