East Front II

Anybody ever played this game?
It's a turned-based strategy game, and although there is'nt much action in the game the historical accuracy is good.
I remember playing a campign as axis overrunning the soviets, right untill some T-34's suddently entered the battlefield. Then the panzer III and IVD and E's was'nt of much use. Later on in the campaign I was reinforced with some panzer IV F1/2 and which helped me overcome the previously superior T-34's.

I played it some years ago, and yesterday I searched our storage room to find it, without any luck. I have regrettably sold the game it turned out.
Luckely it turned out that I can get through the libary.
Alternatively I would have to buy it used on amazon.com for the horrendous price of 40 USD.

I can only recomend this game due to the historical accuracy.

I love this game and have been playing it for a number of years.There is also another called Westfront. I think we can play this on- line if you are interested?

I would love to attempt this one online!.. It is a great game... I too was in the middle of a German Campaign and just found it again recently... I have West Front and Rising Sun too..

did a search on that one.. boy an old one.. looks turn based.. you'd probably find East Front II, West Front or Rising Sun similar... Or Operational Art of War..

Company Heroes is very cool, but that is Real Tims Strategy.. a lot of excitement. outstanding graphics.. you need to have a half decent computer to run it though..

I still like the original Panzer General the best. Wish they would come out with an edition that works well on windows xp.
