winsor & newton mineral spirits

hi all i need to know if the mineral spirits that winsor & newton sell.
are a lot weaker then the mineral spirits u buy in a hardware store.
because i saw the winsor & newton mineral spirits
for sale at michels craft store.
the mineral spirits i got from the hard ware store
peeled mt paint from my tank.
even with 4 coats of future.
so i was thinking may be the winsor & newton mineral spirits are not as strong as the hard ware mineral spirits thanks guys

I use Grumbach Spirits of Turpentine.. I usually do a future coat before decals.. then another after.. I let the second coat cure a few 2 - 3 days...

I use Winsdor and Newton Oils... Seems to protect the paint underneath ok
